Waiter, waiter, there’s a green bug in my soup!

Yesterday, Alma and I went to eat “Malatang” for lunch (will try to get pics later). When I was almost done I noticed this really small green bug (dead, obviously) in my soup! I just stopped eating the rest of what was left. I don’t really know if that bug was supposed to be part of the meal or if it just fell into the cooking pot. It definitely couldn’t have fallen into my bowl.

“Malatang” is a bowl of soup, and you get to choose what you want in that soup. From noodles, eggs and veggies to seaweed and sliced meat. You’re given a small basket and you have to place everything you want in that basket. Everything you choose is boiled with everyone else’s choice of “ingredients”.

So anyway, if that bug was in my soup, I’m guessing a few people had bugs in their soup too. Darn, that was some good soup! I’d go there again.

LOL… Did you ever find out what the bug was doing in your soup, or what kind of bug it was? I mean did someone actually order a bug in their soup… LOL?
