I have no choice but to write this on a text file for now. Last week I’ve upgraded my hosting account from shared to reseller. My host then told me that they will have to move me to another server and that there’s a possibility of corruption.

Last night I received a message telling me that my reseller account had been activated. I can’t remember if I actually entered my blog after that but it was definitely around the same time I went to bed (I know this because I was too sleepy to explore the reseller account thoroughly).

So right now I don’t know if this is the reason why my files all show a ’404 file not found error’. I really hope not, and if this was the reason, I really do hope my host had saved a backup before the transfer. Although I doubt I’ve moved to another server and they simply enabled features that were disabled on my previous account. But I’m not entirely sure about that.

The good news is that I’ve been able to access my database, which means my blog can be recovered. I’ve also been able to download the images uploaded to the blog so that’s a good thing. I apologize for the inconvenience but I’m guessing nobody’s really visiting my site just yet so I don’t have much to worry about just yet.
