Miss Marple
Yesterday was a good day for me. I spent all day watching serials and TV shows – something I haven’t done in a long time (i.e. ALL DAY). I was on both Tudou and Youku watching: The Inbetweeners, Clarissa Explains It All and best of all, Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple mysteries, I’m currently on season 2.
The funny thing about many of these mysteries, is that the murderers usually commit a fatal error that allows miss Maple to solve the crime. So I’m still trying to figure out if she’s supposed to be an intelligent investigator or if the murderers had all been generally careless.
I’ve spent the past few days testing open source softwares. I’ve been searching for lite softwares, including blogs. Sometimes when my internet connection is sluggish it just irritates me when I can access many of my sites except for this one (I’m using WordPress) and I do sometimes wonder if this software isn’t ‘lite’ enough. I don’t have a lot of plugins that would cause the site to load slow so it’s most likely the software.
But then again one of the reasons I chose WordPress is its CMS capability and everytime I add as many plugins as I’ll need, this software loads slow. So I’m thinking of just moving to a liter blog software and then just code the rest of the site myself. This is just too frustrating.
