Today I was a bit lazy so I whipped up something simple using potatoes (something easier than fries). So here’s the mini-recipe of “lazy potatoes”.
Serving: 3
Ingredients:
- half a kilo of potatoes
- garlic
- margarine
- vegetable oil
- salt
1 – cut up half a kilo of potatoes in slices that would be easy enough to fry, but thick enough to munch up. This is called ‘lazy’ because unlike fries, you don’t have to peel off the skin, nor do you have to cut them into smaller pieces:

2 – Deep-fry the potato slices in vegetable oil and some salt:

3 – Remove them from the frying pan when they turn a little brown or golden:

Fry Until Golden Brown
4 – Clean frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of margarine with sliced-up garlic and fry the potatoes again. This should allow the potatoes to absorb some of the garlic flavour:

5 – …and there you have it: “lazy potatoes”.

End Result: "Lazy Potatoes"
Yum. Doesn’t get any lazier than this!
