A great way to promote yourself as a blogger is through someone else’s blog. This is because if you post an entry on your own blog, you are capturing the attention of your audience. But if your article is posted on someone else’s blog you capture the attention of their audience and bring in more targeted traffic to your blog.
Let’s face it; you can post anything on your own blog because you are the only one moderating its contents. But if you send an article to someone’s blog, they will review it and only publish it if it’s good enough and if it meets their entry criteria.
It’s also sort of a recommendation by the blog owner to their readers that your submission and content is good so they should visit your blog and read your entries if they are interested in knowing more about your perspective on things.
Let us not forget the permanent backlink you will have, as your articles will have your name on them and a hyperlink that links back to your website. This benefits you in terms of search engine optimization.
In exchange, your submission benefits the blog owner because after all; it is their website. So if your article is any good, you will help bring in traffic to their website because you have contributed unique content.
It really is as simple, straightforward and transparent as this. That said, I welcome guest bloggers to submit blog entries to this site. The only requirements:
