Signing up for an email address from MSN is easy. Simply visit www.hotmail.com and click on the sign-up button. You will get to choose your username, and what it ends with: either @hotmail.com, or @live.com and voila, you have an email address. But what about the few who specifically wants an “@msn.com”?Well, I know two ways that makes this possible. The first: if you have Windows operating system, go to ‘Start Menu’ and ‘Program Files’, and one of the items on the menu will be “MSN” with the butterfly logo on it. Click on that, and it will ask you if you have an MSN email address. If not, you will be given the chance to create one.
If you can’t seem to find that MSN item on your program list, don’t worry. The following link will get you there:
Visit: https://accountservices.passport.net/reg.srf?ns=msn.com
…fill in the form and sign up for an ‘@msn.com’ email address.
Some people might find it weird why others would specifically want an @msn.com email address. Well, I used to be one and I wanted it because it seemed more official than “@hotmail.com” at the time, and ‘@live.com’ was still very new so nobody really knew it was a Microsoft thing. So having an MSN email address seemed more impressive, and plus some people don’t know how to get one which makes it even more desirable.
