Setting Off On CatCocos Ferry

Ok so I’m on the CatCocos ferry with some friends now. We’ve already experienced a negative incident when my sister went to get us some snacks at the bar. After 10-15 minutes of waiting to be served she decided to give up because the person at the bar was only serving the tourists because they were paying in Euros or something. This is a good example of what locals experience in a tourist-dependent country, at the hands of our own kind (locals). Then again, maybe it’s because we are Asians and locals love White people so much. This is the last trip I’ll be using CatCocos. At least I don’t have to deal with too many bottom-part of the service-industry workers when we travel by plane. Lady sitting next to me is breast-feeding her baby. This is a little too much awkwardness to take-in today. Let’s hope being on Praslin will be better.
