A few weeks ago when I was still working in my previous company, my ex-colleague told me that there’s a very anti-stress game that I should play: Angry Birds. If you enjoy games or if you do enjoy the occasional online reading then you might have heard about it because it’s all the rave.
The outline objective of the game is this: you have a few birds in hand, and you have to use a slingshot to hit caged birds at a distance in order to free them. The cages are set up in a way, that if you hit the right spot, you can hit two birds with one…bird…so to speak. Or rather, all the birds with your bird. It is a rather funny concept because you are using your birds to free the other birds (and your birds basically explode after hitting the cages or the ground.
I can tell you though, that it is not entirely a stress relieving kind of game. In fact, sometimes it’s quite stressful to attempt to hit all the birds with the only bird you have left. A ‘trick’ that I just found out today is that if you left-click on the mouse after releasing the sling shot, 3 birds will be released instead of one as you can see on the image above. Pretty neat, huh?
That said, it’s a cute-ish game full of colours and might actually improve your mood a bit if you play it.
