A few months ago a close friend of mine and longtime childhood buddy “Ant”, who coaches the juniors of the national swimming team told me that she’s headed to Shanghai with “the kids” as they will be participating in the Fina World Championships.
The only thing I was really listening to was that she was going to Shanghai…my 2nd home…the place where I fell in love, the place I had my heart broken into a million pieces over and over again…the place where I met a handful of soulmate-friends, the place where I got my bike stolen, the place where I got addicted to internet, the place where I could be me…
But the things that happened in Shanghai could have happened anywhere in the world. The only thing that I can get in Shanghai that I can’t get in many parts of the world is Crest Premium Whitestrips. It is a USA product. Believe it or not, they don’t sell it in some countries because its primary ingredient has surpassed recommended levels in many countries, including Singapore (which is the foreign country I go to most frequently). This product is also not available in Seychelles unfortunately.
This product is available in all large supermarket chains in Shanghai however, I have seen this product every single time I entered Carrefour, and Tesco. It costs about RMB200. I’m pretty sure my friend will be able to find it as long as she enters one of these supermarkets.
The best thing about this teeth-whitening strips is that is ACTUALLY works. I tried it years ago and I noticed a distinct change in my teeth’s shade of white in about 2 days. Over the decade I’ve tried so many others, including gels from the reputed Colgate…meh. I recommended Crest Whitestrips to my twin sister who read online that you’re supposed to use only one box per year. But she has actually used about 2-3 a year and her teeth has an intense shade of white to it. It’s apparent in all her university pictures with friends (haha) and even when you’re talking to her it’s noticeable that her teeth is really white.
I haven’t actually used this for about 2-3 years now so I really need some whitening done (especially since I’m a tea drinker). My mum and my sister-in-law also wants one, but if I can’t reach them before I meet my friend tomorrow to pay her for the boxes, then they’re going to “miss the bus”. 
I thought I’d just write a short review on the product because I haven’t really posted much this weekend (have been hanging out with friends), and I also do swear by it.
