View From Chilli Bar

We’ve had a rather lazy day today because we were up watching X-Men: First Class until almost 3am this morning.  So instead of cooking dinner we decided to have an early dinner at Chilli Bar.  This is my second time to this “Bar and Steakhouse”.  We went at around 4pm going on 5pm.  It was probably a little too early for them though, because the outside tables were not set yet and we actually entered to ask them if we could order.

To be honest, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did last time but it was the atmosphere I had an issue with and not the food.  The service was alright, we were not treated as well as the last time we were there though but it was still alright.  I forgot to mention that we paid using our debit cards so this is possible in this restaurant.  Our bill amounted to a little over a thousand rupees again for three people, which is pretty good because we ordered three sets of meals, drinks, shots (Spring Bock), and 5 desserts.

What bugged me a bit though was the waitress and her need to clear up the table every 5 minutes even if there was still food on our plates.  What was that about?  She took the plate when we had still a slice of pizza on it, and then she took my dessert plate with half a camembert portion on it.  Meh.  Anyway, I was able to take a few shots from Chilli Bar, which shows part of Stad Linite and part of Eden Island.  As you can see from the pics, we’re finally getting a bit of rain…although very late this year the rain season has finally returned.
