There has been a steady increase in the number of unique visitors per day since the beginning of June. Since then, I’ve installed Google Analytics to the blog and I have also tried my best to post as much as I can on a daily basis.
On June, I’ve added the “Spam of the Day” feature which helped with content and it also helped spread the word out there that some spam received on your email inbox can be fraudulent, and were posted by scammers with the intent to deceive its recipients. I hope that helped at least one person who visited the blog.
Since the beginning of July however, I stopped posting “Spam of the Day” features and have introduced Pay Per Post, as well as welcomed guest bloggers. I feel I am definitely moving in the right direction with this. As my blog increases in worth, I will dissolve PPP.
We are just about a week away from August and so I want to add a few more changes that will help develop this site further.
The first change will be the addition of short news summaries. I will target three main categories: Seychelles or local news, internet and technology, as well as open source software. I will also include related links for visitors who want to read more about the stories. I should have at least three top stories in each category every week day. So that’s an addition of almost 9 extra posts per week day.
So far, I don’t compose an entry if I feel I won’t have time to make it to 200 words or more, but for this particular addition, I will maintain no specific word limit. So if I can’t make it to 200 words then so be it.
My objective for August is to meet a target of 300 posts for that month alone. This is almost triple the number of posts I’ve written for July already.
I also want to increase the number of tutorials and reviews. I’ll be posting month stats at the end of this month to show you the progress of this blog for the month of July.
