After setting up GPRS on my Nokia C7 I noticed that it would automatically connect after a few minutes of disconnecting it. This would not be a good idea because if you are not in an unlimited GPRS plan you will use up data limitations. So I searched Google oh how to disable automatic connection and I couldn’t find a proper answer to the question. So here’s how it’s done:
You will have to go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Connectivity’ -> ‘Settings’ -> and under ‘Data use in home country’, this should be set to either ‘Always ask’ or ‘WLAN only’.
After a few seconds, your GPRS should disconnect and it won’t reconnect you until you do so manually.
