I didn’t think I would need it any time soon, especially because I’m just starting out, but it looks like busy-ness couldn’t have arrived any sooner…I am officially a busy person. I have a lot on my plate, to the point whereby I have to actually get offline from any IM so I can sit and do a few things without the minor distractions. Over a year ago when I was in a similar situation, I read on an online blog that advised time management hopefuls that we should read emails, sms, etc. only once, and react to them immediately. This is so that we won’t have to go back to it (and spend more time reading it over again). Possibly the smartest thing I’ve ever read about saving time.
My driving instructor keeps a time table for his daily schedule. This helps him organize the things he needs to do at each 45-minute interval. He’s a smart guy. I don’t want to keep an actual time table, but I do have to start sorting out my schedule. For example, I should keep certain days of the week for staying in and sitting down to work all day. Other days, I can go out and meet clients.
Speaking of driving instructor, he should be back from his heart surgery this week and I in fact I have an appointment tomorrow. I will have to confirm his availability. I hope his operation was a success. I will also go by my friend Ant’s house to pick up my Crest Whitestrips and to see her. She’s back from Shanghai and she’ll be helping out with the IOIG starting from Thursday onwards. She’s possibly the busiest person I know at this point.
I’m quite tired today so I’m sorry that I won’t be able to post more for now. I will relax a bit and hopefully I can return and post a tutorial or two in a few hours. I haven’t read the news yet so I guess that would have to wait just a bit.
