Sightseeing Around Mahe With IOIG Coach Visitor

I wasn’t able to blog much yesterday because I wasn’t in, so that would explain my blogging on my phone.  Last week, my friend Ant told us to keep our schedule free today because she wanted us to do some sightseeing around Mahe with her friend Francisco Couronne.  He is a Mauritian swimming coach and is also the coach for the handicapable athletics team.  If it’s something Seychellois would drop anything for; it’s to take someone around our pretty islands.  So that’s what we did yesterday – we went around Mahe (well, as much as we could cover in half a day).

I’ve taken some pictures along the way so here are some random pictures I took with my phone, of the roads here in Seychelles.  Very curvy, with lots of literal highs and lows.  In the next 2 blog posts I will also upload pictures of where we had lunch, and the University of Seychelles, which used to be the Seychelles Polytechnic and the exact buildings where I did my A’ Levels.  The Anse Royale brings back a lot of memories!

Anyway, we borrowed Annette’s mother’s Hyundai i20, and Div drove us around.
