Nokia C7 GPRS or Wifi Disconnection Issues

  • Sharebar

I noticed that it can be quite problematic to disable automatic GPRS and even Wifi connection (known network) in some cases.  On my previous post about this, I did think it was a simple option on the settings.  But after playing around with the phone I noticed that it was actually a bug.

The good news however, is that there is a bug fix to this and you will have to update your Nokia’s firmware in order to have this issue resolved.

To update your firmware, visit:

‘Settings’ -> ‘Phone’ -> ‘Phone Management’ -> ‘Device Updates’ -> ‘Options’ -> ‘Check for updates’

The custom version is: 013.016.228.04

This should solve the automatic connection once and for all.
