Hello Viewcard World!

I started pen-palling when I was around 11.  I had this one penpal who would travel the world, and she would send me postcards from the different countries she visited.  When I was around 15 years old, I noticed that I had a beautiful collection of postcards from different penpals.  So that’s when I decided to start a collection.  I was a serious collector when I was around 17-18.  I had to chill out for a while when I was 19 because of exams.  But I resumed the hobby until I was 22 when I decided to stop swapping completely.

By then I was in China, so I bought lots of postcards from the different cities I’d go to.  On my way to China, I had to transit via Johannesburg in South Africa and Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.  So I’m really glad I was able to get viewcards from these African countries.

Living in the Seychelles makes it easy for people from Europe to want to swap with me, so most of my cards are actually from Europe, especially Germany and Italy.  I really need African cards though.  There are over 50 countries in Africa…

This is a new blog.  Over time, I will upload images of the cards that I are currently up for exchange.

Anyway, welcome to my viewcard blog.  Read the ‘About‘ page to know what I collect.  Send me a message on my ‘Guestbook’ if you would like to swap with me.  Please just send me a note or two, do not include your postal address.  Just leave your email and I will send you a reply.

Thanks and happy swapping!
