What good is a post office box if there’s no mail in it? I can finally resume penpalling and viewcard swapping! I’ll bought 50 viewcards in town yesterday and a bunch of envelopes and paper. It all costed around 500 rupees (US $42). To think, I haven’t posted them yet…this has made me realize how much my mum supported this hobby of mine. Every time I needed money for postcards, envelopes, stamps, etc. she’d just give them to me. Ugh, the guilt.
I’m a bulk swapper, I can do about 5-20 cards per swap. I collect unused/unwritten viewcards posted in an envelope. I also collect vintage cards (can be used and stamped). I especially like cards with the following views: sunset/sunrise, city lights and cityscapes, natural scenery / landscapes, architectural buildings, monuments, popular attractions.
I do not collect cards with animals, plants, and people on them.
If you collect viewcards and would like to exchange with me, feel free to send me a message. I’ve created another blog on iviewcards.com (regged since 2007!), so check it out. I’ll be posting my viewcard exchanges on there.
Happy swapping!
