Yesterday, for an unknown reason my Nokia 5530 stopped working. I have absolutely no idea why. So if anyone tried to reach me on one of my numbers but didn’t get me because my phone was off, now you know why. I’ve been switching SIM cards. Last week, I sold my Nokia 7100 Supernova. Don’t ask me why…let’s just say someone placed me in a position whereby I had very little choice but to sell it. So there goes my clubbing phone (and there it went). I don’t really care because I don’t really go clubbing anymore so it’s all good. That said, last night I was on the search for a new phone. That’s how I ended up checking out the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
All good things come in that size.
On a more serious note my netbook was 10 inches in width and although portable, it wasn’t extremely portable. I did feel 7 inch was too small, so an almost 8 inch tab seems almost perfect: not too big, not too small.
So anyway, apparently this phone is banned in Germany because there’s some kind of lawsuit happening between Apple and Samsung. There’s nothing like having a phone that is banned or not available in several countries. This tab is set to be released this month.
This is the Galaxy tab that supports GSM, SMS and MMS.
Some random features include: 3G, accelerometer sensor, super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, video, primary and secondary camera, bluetooth and infrared, Android OS (Honeycomb), 1GB RAM, GPS, Java, Messaging, etc.
Now let’s just wait for its price tag…
