Okay, so a good number of people have told me that there’s a lot of “too personal” stuff on my previous About Me page (hey, I thought if you clicked on that you wanted to get to know me, but apparently not! LOL).
So anyway, I’ve changed it to a school project I did back in 2009. This was during my post-web 2.0 phase when I was trying to bring classic pure colours back. I think I did an excellent job quite frankly. I was still relatively new to CSS at the time and I’m viewing the site on the latest Firefox browser (6.0.2) and it is appearing as it should.
It’s the best thing about learning CSS in this era…it’s a lot easier. I don’t even want to see what this page looks like in Internet Explorer 6.0.
The site has not been edited (except for 3 images in the ‘family’ page – I’ve removed my elder sister’s pictures because she doesn’t like the attention), but I’ve pretty much stated my favourite movies and music of all time so in a way, that hasn’t really changed. I’ve pulled out a lot of the text from Wikipedia, IMDB, and so on. This was a website project, my intention was not to steal content!
Apart from that, none of these images were compressed, and most of them are in PNG format so I apologize if it takes time to load. This was an offline website, and PNG brings out the best in terms of quality for images so that was my reason for keeping the images in that format.
My email contact information is also there but I guess it’s fine.
I hope you guys are now satisfied with the about me page?
P.s. I actually thought I left out the REALLY personal details…LOL.
