Short Review of the Nokia C7

  • Sharebar

I’m not going to lie, I feel this is possibly the least user-friendly Nokia phone I have ever owned.  This is its biggest downfall (design fail).  The first day I had it, it almost felt like the first day I was exploring the Nokia 5530 because many of the Nokia Symbian OS are quite similar.  But the Nokia C7 is a lot more complicated in a way, I still find it difficult to find the configuration settings for a few features.  I don’t think the main menus or sub menus have been labelled properly.

The three shortcut-menu type homepage screen was easy to figure out though.  The Nokia Ovi Store on this phone loads really fast, even on limited wifi connection.  The great thing about this phone is its 8 megapixel camera, and predictive text while SMSing I believe.  It also has a very sleek exterior and its gorilla-glass display makes it a fabulous phone to own.

There are lots of great apps available, and surfing the web is comfortable even if the size of the screen isn’t too large.  The phone also successfully uses its camera’s flash as a torch feature (hold down the keylock when the phone is not on battery-saving mode).  Oh, and need I mention the presence of a secondary camera?
