Driving Lesson #26: Shut Up and Drive

  • Sharebar

I drove out of my house’s parking today, and I was really annoyed at my instructor because he kept his foot on the clutch which confused me (I had my foot on accelerator, let go of clutch and the car still wouldn’t move) until I realized he was messing with me.  So I actually raised my voice at him and told him to “let go of the clutch!” as I exited the path out of the parking.

I had two extra passengers today for a while (one being my younger brother) and then I dropped off the ‘stranger’ in town and continued driving.  I didn’t go to St. Louis today, only stayed around the Bel Air area, and at lower Foret Noire.

I told my instructor to call me any time a student of his cancels, so I’ll even go twice a day if possible…in time for my on road test.
