Reading: “Eat Pray Love” – Elizabeth Gilbert

  • Sharebar

Okay so I was going through the books in my reading list for this month and “Eat Pray Love” by Elizabeth Gilbert seems to be the really interesting one so I’ll start with that.

I am at chapter 6, there are 108 chapters.

I’m already quite envious and inspired at the same time.  It would be great to visit a completely foreign country and study their culture.  Although that sort of thing is easiest for white people because they’re accepted everywhere.

I really want to go on holiday soon, and although I’m tempted to visit my sister in Beijing, part of me wants to travel to India and visit the Taj Mahal.  I really ought to stop spending money on places I’ve already been to.  We only know more about ourselves when we visit places and expose ourselves to cultures that are new to us.
