Seychelles Legislative Elections

  • Sharebar

[UPDATE: For those of you who have landed on my blog wanting to know the results: Parti Lepep has won in every district so here's the link to names and images of the MNAs].

——————————–

I had driving practice early today (paid Rs. 500; 300 for “test tax” apparently and 200 for practice.  Instructor already owes me 70 rupees so I have 2 more practice days left) and then my instructor dropped me off at Fresh Cuts so I walked to the Les Mamelles district administration centre to vote.  There was almost no queue, it took me less than a minute to complete everything.

I don’t think people in Seychelles care much about the legislative elections.  The presidential elections was held just a few months ago and a good percentage of people voted.

I vote because it’s fun when people think I’m a foreigner with a fake ID card.  It’s almost orgasmic.

Anyway, my job is done for the year.
