Last week I had a lot of online bills to pay so I paid them off one by one. I must have been a little short on my Paypal funds because I noticed that there was an option of completing the payment through partial payment using funds from the bank account linked to my Paypal account. I don’t know when this happened; when this became possible because I JUST found out that it was possible! I cancelled the transaction because I hadn’t installed some software and drivers necessary for this transaction. I’ve done a lot of online payments using one of my bank accounts in China so I was well aware of the transaction procedures.
So today, I decided to give it a go. I installed all the necessary software and drivers, plugged in the safety USB key (if you are in China, you will get one when you apply for online banking) and initiated several domain name renewals (this site included). What do you know; it worked! You have no idea how pleased I am about this.
Although I don’t know if my bank will consider this odd; seeing a transaction on a Seychelles IP address. I really hope not.
