I had tried upgrading the firmware of my Nokia C7 from the old version Symbian ^3 to Symbian Anna last week. But I had some problems so I decided to continue with the upgrade today. I had to download 328Mb of data using the Ovi Suite…and with the internet speeds here in Seychelles, that was no easy task. My backups kept failing so I had to restore factory settings. They won’t let you upgrade this from the phone. Thankfully, it all worked out in the end.
Here are a few screenshots to show the visible and very obvious changes:

Black default background, GPS and 3G are now visible on display when they are enabled, icons have changed.

Scrolling is now visible in "real-time", haha. Sort of like the iPhone now.

Icons are more rounded, modern and bright-coloured / striking. Nokia has really listened to the suggestions on this one.

Cool loading...gives it a modern feel.

All black and white now...nice, but kind of makes me feel like they forgot to add some colour to it? But It will blend better with a custom background.

Update information. OS is now 'Symbian Anna'.
