Many a time, people start receiving e-mails from spammers or some website which they might have subscribed to. And this makes the situation worst. If you are looking for some important mails, and everyday you have to look through several e-mails which are of no use, then it will be waste of time and sometimes, it looks little embarrassing if you have to open your mail account in front of your friend or someone else.
But sometimes, it is our mistake also that lead to get us spam messages. It is better not to give away your e-mail address to anyone, give your e-mail address to trusted ones, or if you are subscribing any newsletter then go for those which do not send spam’s every now and then. But even if you are receiving e-mails from unknown senders, then its’ better to ignore and block them.
Following are the steps for how to block someone on Hotmail:
- Select ‘Options’.
- From side menu you will see 3 options ‘General’, ‘Mail’ and ‘Privacy’. Select ‘Mail’.
- You will see several options. From that, select ‘Safe and blocked senders’ which is under ‘Preventing junk email’ label.
- Under safe and blocked senders there are 3 options, select ‘Blocked senders’
- Submit the email address which you want to block and click ‘Add to list’ button. Its’ done.
