For example, one of the most recently launched Aakash Tablet is merely under USD$ 50.
As per the price, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 it is higher and very high compared to Aakash Tablet, but it is the most branded one and a competitor of Apple iPad 2 in India. Prior to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 launch iPad 2 was the main amongst tablet users. But after the launch it has been seen that it is lighter than and as thin as hair which breaks the record of Apple iPad2 and comes with smaller footprint compared to Motorola Xoom or another tablet.
If you look at Aakash Tablet, yes it is cheaper than any of the other tablet but it comes with its’ certain drawbacks for example, it uses Android v2.2 Froyo, and battery gets heated within 2 hours, it last around about 3 hours which is very less as it should be at least 5 hours and it has been recently come a week before. So it cannot be said that, what mark it will make against other tablets which are famous all around the world. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is worth to buy if you have money.
