If you’re one of my returning visitors, you might have noticed that I haven’t been updating as much as I have been and I have left a large part of the updating to guest bloggers. I’m working on a few things right now, and I’m also concentrating on web & visitor analysis on several sites lately so the ‘analysis’ part takes a lot of my time. Although content is very important to show visitors that the site is still very active and still being maintained, it is also important to understand what attracts a visitor…keywords, adverts, backlinks?
It’s also important to know which pages they visit most, how long they stay on these pages, how long they stay on the website, whether or not they visit other pages on the site, if they return to the site, etc.
Apart from that, I’m also learning more about other softwares out there, other extensions, etc. My objective in this department at the moment is to find something extremely user-friendly that even my mum would be able to use.
These are not the only things I’m doing at the moment though.
Ultimately, every new thing I discover will be written down on my blog so I’m actually just coming up with new material, even if that takes time.
Meanwhile, please take the time to ready guest posts on this blog. Many posts are carefully selected by me or sometimes I invite bloggers to compose articles from titles that have been thought up by me.
