I used ClustrMaps on a previous blog and I’ve always felt that it’s one of the really fun blog widgets out there that is incredibly easy to install (just copy and paste the generated code to your page). This is how it works: a visitor enters your site and their location is identified by a dot on the world map. The more visitors you have, the more dots you will see on your map. Fun, right?
The red dots vary in sizes. The large dots means that there are many visits from that specific location. The small dots mean there are only a few visits from the place. The yellow dots however, show recent visits. So if you visit a site that has the ClustrMaps widget, your visit will be recorded as a yellow dot on the world map.
If you click on the small widget, you will be directed to the ClustrMaps website and they will show you a larger map of the website’s visitor locations, a list of recent visits and their locations, as well as the time that the recent visitors landed on the website.
