Earlier today, my ex-driving instructor (who is also a friend of my mum’s) came by to give us a lift to town and he made me drive us there. It really made me miss driving. So I’ve asked him for a ‘driving practice’ session tomorrow morning. Sometimes I do miss having more than just website stuff in my schedule. It just becomes too ‘monotonous’ after a while.
In a way, I find it odd that driving to places like town seems like it takes quite a while to get there. But if someone else is driving you, it’s almost like it takes just a minute assuming there’s no traffic.
Ever since I started my first few lessons I realized that the easiest way to get a tan in Seychelles is to get stuck in traffic. It’s much more effective than going to the beach, slapping on some suntan lotion and sleeping under the sun for an hour.
