I’m composing this blog post on my Nokia C7 phone. I am looking for an alternative way to blog directly from my phone. A few months ago when I visited Praslin I installed WordPress’ Wapple Architect. This plugin transformed my admin panel into something more display-friendly. It’s a pretty cool tool.
This time however, I’m looking for something that works with the phone. For example, if I want to post something more like a photoblog, I should be able to take a picture on my phone and upload it and add a description as soon as possible, without having to go through the whole sign in thing.
Wapple Architect did not score highly in terms of ‘ease of texting’. Sometime I would type something and the text would disappear. As I type this up, I noticed that this app (WordPress for Nokia or this link) has intelligently separated paragraphs i.e. you can post something as a paragraph and then select the paragraphs individually if you need to edit something. It’s just awesome that way.
The size of buttons and text on this is also just right. Plus you can add your location, which is a cool feature because why else would you be on your mobile phone if you’re not on the road or not in front of your computer…
That said, there is some level of difficulty in adding a link especially if I need to scroll down to hit the link button.

I hope it’s not time consuming.
To set up or use? No not at all.
Cool.
