Hours To Burn At The Dubai International Airport

  • Sharebar

I’m composing a second blog entry because I ran out of time earlier and I’m on Internet Explorer 6 so it wasn’t saved. I am at the Dubai International Airport, and there aren’t many interesting things to do here. I cannot seem to access the internet on my phone using the free Wifi here so I have no choice but to update my blog via email, here at the free internet access kiosk.

The funny thing about these kiosks is that there are no chairs because they intentionally want you to stand up. That way, you get tired and leave and this gives others a chance to access the internet.

Anway, the few amenities here at the transit lounge includes shopping at the Duty Free, eating and drinking at the restaurants and cafes, and then there’s something called a “Quiet Lounge” and I’m guessing it’s for people who want to relax or sleep.

I still have about 2+ hours until my departure to Singapore. I should be back in Singapore for the 3rd time this year in about 9 hours or so, assuming everything goes well. I’m tired and a little cranky from the lack of sleep, but my holiday has begun so I should just chin up and enjoy it while it lasts.

I’ve taken some pictures, which I would really like to attach to this post but since it’s not possible at the moment, I will upload the pictures when I can access the internet on my phone.

I want to update my blog as often as possible about the holiday. A great way of adding keywords and travel-related content to this blog.
