Indian Restaurant & Bowling For Christmas

  • Sharebar

Yesterday was Christmas and I had a fabulous time with my two siblings and my sister’s friends Tahera from India and Sara from Spain.

We had a feast at the Indian Kitchen situated in Sanlitun. The meal there was excellent…well I love Indian food so I always havea great time at Indian restaurants.

We then had some fun on a frozen lake…we were freezing our butts off but we were all in high spirits so we stayed in there for as long as we could.

We then went bowling, it costed us 150 yuan to rent a lane for one hour…that’s about 300 rupees which is costly. We had to rent bowling shoes for 5 yuan per hour. It was my first time bowling and I managed a few perfect hits so that was pretty cool. Although I only do well if I hit all the pins in one go. If I miss a few the first time round, I can count on missing them on the second try, period. Some people can target the pin so well that if they miss it on their first hit, they can hit the standing ones on their second try.

For dinner we met Sara’s language partner and had Chinese food, specifically jiaozi.

Oh yeah, I wore the Christmas hat throughout the day…like I said I would.

Last Christmas Div and I brought my mum and younger brother to Praslin and La Digue. We were invited for a party on La Digue that Christmas night.
