I don’t even know what they’re called to be honest. A while ago, the Facebook status message was an “in” thing. People would just update their statuses with all kinds of news ranging from random stuff to extremely personal updates. The most annoying status updates were those ones that were written in a way that it seemed it was directed at you, but not really. You know those ones? LOL. These types have mutated into something far more advance and efficient, hence “FB status message 2.0″. They look somewhat like this:
Anyway, I thought it’s interesting that you can write whatever you want on one of these share-a-ma-jigs (I wonder what they’re called?) and people on your friends list would actually end up reading it because it’s the “in” thing right now. Great way to advertise. Although people are more interested if it’s love or relationship-related or a smart quote.
