I was feeling hungry for something sweet just a few minutes ago so I went back to SuperCook to see if I had enough for a cake. This time I added eggs to my list. It listed down a few hundred recipes so I decided to search for the 3-minute microwave cake recipe my sister-in-law gave me a few years ago. I found a really good recipe at All Recipes Australia NZ. I modified the recipe just a bit: I used almond essence instead of vanilla. I thought about using the almond slices we kept here for a few months. To my disappointment they were moldy. So I decided to increase the amount of milk.
Here’s the funny part (see, I do have a sense of humour): when the mini-cake was fresh out of the microwave I spread some margarine over it and then sprinkled it with the burnt polvoron I made the other day. It added an interesting flavour to it. All in all it tasted excellent. I poured in just the right amount of almond essence.

I’ll have to get some cocoa, vanilla essence and some sprinkles so I can do the chocolate version of the cake. This is not something you should have everyday though. Have you seen the ingredients? It’s got oil, eggs, lots of carbs, sugar and anything extra you add to it. Probably something that should be divided between 2-3 people. I left half a slice in the refrigerator for my younger brother.
