Today, Facebook is being used by billions of people. A recent experiment showed that people are logging into their Facebook accounts more frequently than checking their email.
For some this could be as much as eight times per day. The big question remains; is face book a useful business tool or just a fun past time. Although the majority of Facebook users probably use it as a social tool to post comments and see what their friends are doing. It does have some more serious uses.
The more Savvy Business people have experimented with Facebook within their business community. Lots of them made a lot more sales after using fan pages to interact with their suspects and prospects.
Marketing, after all is the process of constantly educating your target audience about your product or service so Facebook makes it the ideal platform and fan pages seems to facilitate this process very well.
In conclusion I would say that Facebook can generate lots of leads and sales for your offline and online business if you know how to make the best uses of all it’s tools.
The main problem is most users don’t have the patience and mindset to explore it’s vast facilities and it remains a fun past time.
