Today’s Google Doodle is an interactive synthesizer that can record and playback your improvised compositions in “Moog” style.  The late Robert Arthur Moog (23rd May 1934 – 21st August 2005) of New York City founded Moog Music and also invented the Moog synthesizer.

Happy 78th birthday Robert Moog!

A fitting tribute is given by Google to one of the legendary musicians of all-time. The Doodle comprised of the synthesizer completes the tribute to a fantastic composer the world has ever known.
