Night-Blooming Flower In Seychelles (Pictures)

I was going through a friend’s hard drive yesterday when I spotted these amazing pictures of the beautiful Dutchman’s Pipe cactus (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) or is it the Brahma Kamal (Saussurea obvallata)?  He told me I could have them for my blog, so here they are! To add on to its beauty, it is a flower that blooms only at night and can be found on cold, mountainous areas.  Some species of this flower blooms only once a year! These pictures were taken at La Misere.  This flower looks a lot like the Dragon Fruit flower (Hylocereus undatus) at first glance, but they are not the same flower.

Wow! These flowers look like heavenly ones. I would love to visit this place and see them bloom in front of my eyes. Seychelles is a place full of surprises.
