I launched this site some time on May 2011 so it is officially 1 year old! Lots of changes for the site this past year; it has transformed from a simple blog to a simple CMS. I wonder what it will look like next year? I spent the first 10 months or so working on content, and only on March of this year did I start link-building and promoting it on some other websites. I’ll keep its rate at a slow but steady pace. This year I will continue with simple and free promotion. Mainly because its content and layout is still in developmental phase. I’m trying to figure out a strategy in which it would be a lot easier for visitors to find content. But all in good time.
This month has been quite special for this blog. I’ve added 3 pages with 3 separate functionality. Plus an additional database. So it’s going to be a tough job to promote the blog which is the main page, and then all the other sub-pages. This reminds me of what I wrote about quite a while back: Website development is a continuous process. Please check out that post if you have time.
I’m really sorry that you haven’t heard much from me this month, and you’ll probably hear less of me this June because I’ll be taking a bit of a break. My back’s been killing me for a few weeks now and it’s just not getting any better. So I’ve had no choice but to take longer breaks away from the computer.
