I’m back! Sorry you haven’t heard from me as often as you should have last month, I’ve been rather busy with all kinds of things that I can’t really discuss at the moment. But anyway, I do plan to write more often this month. I feel like I turned away from my blog some time around April and then when I turned to look back, here we are…October! What ever happened to the middle part of this year? I don’t remember. Perhaps I took an extended vacation.
October is breast cancer awareness month – think pink! My first cousins (on my dad’s side) and my aunt (his sister) are all breast cancer survivors. I’m not that close to them because they live in the Philippines but I do keep in touch with them on Facebook. We were on Facebook when one of my cousins was diagnosed with this disease not so long ago, and we were on Facebook when she received the good news that she’s been cleared of it. The thing about cancer is that it has to be diagnosed and caught early.
